November’s Library Picks

I realised during the lead up to and the beginning of writing this blog that the local library is a key part of my source of reading and general life research.  I never though of myself as old-fashioned! but I do enjoy the process of being in the quiet space and having time to peruse the collections of books, magazines, newspaper, dvds and cds.  I see and feel it as a source of my developing my creativity and enjoyment of life-long learning.  Now my trips to the library are more often than not with Sonny, I often find my choices rather rushed and can be somewhat a bit of a surprise when it comes to getting home!  I do have a ritual of not opening the books until i have a a cup of tea in hand and a free sofa to sit down on.

I thought I would share my picks from this month:

My usual selection and range of books, as Sonny is getting a little older I am managing to get a few minutes to choose, as opposed to the grab and go when he was just 2 and 3.

My project for this week is to make the dog coat from ‘Pamper your Pooch’
